Tri-Valley's Junior Tennis Academy and Academy Prep are designed for junior tournament level players age 10-18. The Academy provides high level instruction with our top staff, supervised match play, video analysis, conditioning and weekly ladder matches. The Academy and Academy Prep are available by invitation only and are limited to 20 players per session. Junior Tennis membership is required and USTA tournament play is encouraged. The Academy Program Offers: Day 1 - 2½ hours

Instructional Staff Dan Giammalvo– Academy DirectorSince joining the Tri-Valley staff 4 years ago, Dan has worked with and developed a host of tournament caliber players. It was his vision that has led to the creation of our Academy program. Joe McDermott– Tennis Director Tri-Valley’s original Head Tennis Professional. A 25 year veteran of tennis instruction, Joe’s calm and insightful view of the game has helped literally thousands of players of all levels. He has led Tri-Valley’s tennis program since 2000. Dan Flanagan- Senior Instructor One of the area’s most respected tennis instructors, and an original Tri-Valley instructor, Dan has worked with hundreds of ranked junior players and touring professionals. His knowledge of the game and brilliant instructional techniques, have served the area’s top players for the past 15 years. Mike Hughes- Senior Instructor A former Div.1 college and touring professional, Mike has lent his wealth of instructional skills to the Tri-Valley tennis program for the past 5 years. A true student of the stroke, his technical input has proved invaluable to his long list of students. Anton Nikolov- Hitting Instructor One of the top junior players in New England and nationally ranked, Anton has been a staff intern instructor for the past 2 years. He will work with Academy players in rally and point play drills. |
